Stoked since 1991, I was born in Germany and raised in Spain. My pilates and yoga journey has left traces all over the world.
YOGA
I first stumbled into a yoga class at the Sivananda Yoga Centre Berlin Friedenau at the age of 17 during my university studies at the FU Berlin, Germany. It was the first time I came across the practice of meditation, pranayama and asanas. From then on, I continued my personal practice, mostly at home. At the age of 23, I moved to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic where I completed a teachers training in Power Vinyasa Yoga (RYT 200 hrs), with Nena Knafo. During this time, I lived with an experienced yoga teacher Eve Riboldi, who until today is my friend and teacher. She guided me through my first experiences as a yoga teacher. I started teaching Vinyasa classes for adults and children in yoga studios, such as Yoga+ RD, and primary and secondary schools. Back in Europe, I moved to Innsbruck, Austria and completed two master degrees in Applied Economics and Strategic Managemet. After this period, I started teaching yoga on sail boats in the Mediterranen and surf hostels. I also stepped into a practice of ashtanga with teachers that are students of R. Sarath Jois. Teaching gives me the possibility to facilitate yoga students to feel better.
PILATES
My pilates journey began in 2017. I successfully completed the one year comprehensive MasterPilates Mat and Reformer Teachers Training in the Raquel Rodriquez PilatesStudio in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. My teachers, Raquel Rodriquez, Mabel Cabrera and Luisa Core, students of Bob Liekens, could have not prepared me any better for a professional career as a pilates teacher. During the past summer 2019, I had the opportunity to teach in various studios in Las Palmas.
